This is my favorite shampoo! I have extremely thick and
tangly hair, and have often found myself double-conditioning to make my
hair manageable. The first time I used Aubrey's Honeysuckle Rose Shampoo
and Conditioner, I was sold. My hair was so soft, instantly, and of
course, naturally.
From Aubrey's website:
For Dry, Brittle Hair
The sweet smell of success for your hair.
Achieve ultra-softness and manageability with this moisture-intensive
shampoo. Restorative herbal emollients rehydrate hair fiber to overcome
dryness and brittleness and leave hair irresistibly fragrant and
silky-soft. Also recommended for bleached or highlighted hair.

As you may already know, shampoos are most effective when
you alternate once in awhile, to reduce the build-up that can accumulate
from any product. Every week or so, I switch and wash my hair with
Burt's Bees Grapefruit and Sugar Beet Shampoo and Conditioner, which I
also love.
This score is a ranking based on how natural, eco-friendly, and non-toxic a product is, and is rated out of a possible total 5 stars.
STARS: 5 out of 5 stars for naturalness
COMMENTS: There is so
much controversy these days surrounding many of the synthetic
ingredients found in popular body products. We just don't know for
certain what the effects of those chemicals are. Aubrey Organics
provides an effective way to avoid them all together, without the
slightest compromise of quality. All of their products easily receive a
5-star Green Screen rating.

Here is a bit about Aubrey Organics from their website:
"AUBREY ORGANICS® has always been natural, and now we're being certified
organic*. This means that first our factory, where we make all AUBREY
ORGANICS® products (except our soap bars, which are made in France) was
inspected and certified as a manufacturing facility where organic
ingredients can be handled, well...organically. Now we're having all
AUBREY ORGANICS® ingredients certified one by one. Since we use herbals
from around the world, hundreds and hundreds of them, this could take
quite a while, but we're committed to organic certification because we
believe it's the best way to tell you, our customers, just how natural
we are. If natural products are what you want, then AUBREY ORGANICS® is
the only hair and skin care line for you! (Our organic certifying
organization is Quality Assurance International of San Diego,
California.)
When Aubrey Hampton first mixed ground ginger, peppermint and eucalyptus
leaf into coconut oil in 1967, little did he dream that almost 30
years later he'd be CEO of a bodycare company — AUBREY ORGANICS® — with
happy customers around the globe. What he did know, however, was what
his mother, an herbalist, told him 20 years earlier about making a
natural bodycare product. "She'd pull up a camomile plant," Aubrey
reminisced, and say, "'From the flower heads to the roots, nature works
together.'"
One hundred and thirty products later, Aubrey still hears his mother's
voice every time he works in his lab. Why use something synthetic when
something natural works so much better? That's the practical philosophy
behind every AUBREY ORGANICS®product. This simple idea has made Aubrey
the leading natural bodycare manufacturer in the world, and a leader in
natural cosmetic chemistry with an impressive list of "firsts."
