rinse that is especially wonderful for dogs with hot spots and troubled
skin.

It is wonderful to find a pet shampoo that contains no
harsh detergents or pesticides, that leaves my dog's coat soft and
shiny, smells great, and contains a natural insect deterrent. What more
could you ask for?
With Aubrey's, I've finally found a softening and gentle
conditioner made especially for dogs, without all the toxic chemicals,
which is especially important when you think about how often dogs lick
their fur. Our lab's coat has never looked shinier, healthier, or
sleeker than it does these days, and I feel great knowing that I am not
slathering my best friend in chemicals!
Both the Aubrey's shampoo and conditioner have a pleasant
herbal scent, and leave my doggie's fur soft and shiny. They rinse away
clean, lather just enough (but not too much- there is nothing worse
than lather that won't wash away on a dog that is DONE being cooperative
in the bath!), and don't dry out your hands or your dog's fur!

Why is it so important to go natural with pet shampoos?
Remember that dogs do something that we don't: they lick their coats
from time to time. That means they are not only exposing their skin to
any chemicals in their shampoo, but they are also ingesting any residues
left behind.
This score is a ranking based on how natural, eco-friendly, and non-toxic a product is, and is rated out of a possible total 5 stars.
STARS: 5 out of 5 stars for naturalness
COMMENTS: Finally, a
pet shampoo that is 100% natural! Need I say more? All the ingredients
in this shampoo are natural and organic, and they've even found a
natural insect deterrent (pennyroyal) so that your dog does not have to
be exposed to DEET (particularly dangerous if ingested when your dog
licks his/her coat).
