Sodium laureth sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, cocamide MEA and coconut alcohol ethoxylate (plant-derived cleaning agents), aqua (water), sodium chloride (thickener), magnesium chloride (cleaning enhancer), citric acid (cornstarch-derived water softener), essential oils and botanical extracts* (citrus clementina (clementine co2), citrus aurantium bergamia (bergamot fcf), citrus sinensis (blood orange), cymbopogon citratus (lemongrass), carnarium luzonicum (elemi)), hexahydro-1,3,5-tris (2-hydroxyethyl)-s-triazine (preservative, less than 0.05%). *d-limonene is a naturally occurring component of these ingredients.
Lemongrass and orange are such refreshing fragrances! It is important to me that while I clean, I am energized by the frangrances I am using. Otherwise, cleaning is a dull and monotonous job. This fragrance fits the bill, and it's effectiveness as a dish soap make it a highly recommended product.
I currently am using Mrs. Meyer's Geranium dish soap, but every now and then, I will switch to Seventh Generation when I tire of the geranium scent, or when I just feel like something new. I find that if I don't rotate the cleaning products I use, I enjoy cleaning less. Finding new products that work and new fragrances that are refreshing and pleasant is exciting for me. Cleaning is something that has to be done constantly, and the more interesting I make it for myself, the easier it is to start those chores!
SOMETHING ELSE...
One of the best things about natural dish soaps is that my hands are not dry and chapped after doing the dishes.
I've had a few people tell me that they are very concerned about germs. Does a natural dish soap really get the germs off of my dishes? I believe that natural products are more than sufficiently effective. But if you are concerned about this, I suggest an old trick that a mother of a friend of mine (who was an all-natural, all-organic vegetarian) taught me: if you wear rubber gloves, you can turn the water extremely hot without it hurting your hands. (In fact, my friend's mother didn't even use soap, she just used super-hot water and some good old-fashioned scrubbing.) The ultra-hot water will kill many bacteria and germs). I recommend the soap, though- a good, all-natural one, like Seventh Generation.

"I have been using eco-friendly dish soaps for over a year now and find that Seventh Generation is one of my favorites. Because I have a dishwasher, most of my hand washing is limited to (non-stick) pots and pans. In my experience, this dish soap cleans and cuts grease effectively. And, for those who are attached to their sudsy dish soap - have no fear! You will still have bubbles with Seventh Generation."
