I love all of the handmade products from this company, and this is no exception. It is a wonderfully smooth, moisturizing, and soothing balm that is just heavenly to rub on my hands and any other dry skin areas (like my feet and elbows). And the scent- oh, the scent!- is this refreshing, slightly herbal, intoxicating aroma. I find myself literally walking around smelling my hands after I use it (looks a little strange, I'm sure!).
I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it is not AT ALL greasy, like many balms. At first I thought, this goes on like butter, but that's not quite right, because it is totally non-greasy. Its more like spreadable silk, so soft and smooth. I am totally in love with this balm, and I now carry one in my purse at all times, as well as having one at home.
This balm is also a soothing remedy for any minor irritations, like scrapes, burns or rashes, too- what a wonderful product!! The tin says it is also for hair, but I haven't tried that yet....
