COMMENTS: Canus is a Canadian company that has a strong reputation for providing wonderful natural products using only the freshest goat milk available. Started by a couple of friends in Canda using goat milk processed just north of Montreal, Canus has developed a world-wide reputation.

This product relies on the natural moisturizing properties of fresh goat milk, and sources their goat milk from a local goat farm near Montreal, which is a wonderfully sustainable way of supporting their local community.

However, considering that this particular product has received countless rave reviews and even won some awards from various natural products organizations, I was a little disappointed to discover that it contains DMTM hydantoin, a known irritant. Fortunately, it is at the end of the ingredients list, and most of the other ingredients in this body butter are natural, so it still gets a pretty good Green Screen score.

Personal Recommendation

This body butter is so smooth and creamy. It a luxuiously soft lotion designed especially for rough areas like hands, elbows, knees, and feet. I have found myself turning to this body butter a couple of times a day for a moisturizing treat.

Goat milk has long been known as a natural skin moisturizer and rejuvenator. This lotion will leave your skin feeling soft and supple, without a lot of greasiness. I love to use it on my feet after I shower and just before bed, which also leaves my hands so soft and smooth!

I was, however, a little disappointed to discover two questionable synthetic ingredients in this product, especially since Canus has such a strong reputation as a natural product manufacturer, and because they have won awards form various natural products organizations.
