I love this mouth rinse! I stopped using harsh mouthwashes like Listerine, because they just felt too astringent and contain too many synthetic ingredients. This mouth rinse not only keeps my mouth clean and breath fresh naturally, it heals mouth sores and sore throats amazingly well.

I have woken up in the middle of the night with a scratchy, painful sore throat, knowing I was on the road to getting sick, and after getting out of bed and gargling with this mouth rinse, woken up to a perfectly normal throat. It's no wonder, too, with healing herbs like echinacea, tea tree oil, and goldenseal. I ALWAYS have a bottle of this sitting on my bathroom counter.

It did take some time to get used to the flavor, but if you are already using a baking soda toothpaste, it shoudln't be hard. It is very different from conventional mouthwashes. Ths rinse has the typical "salty" taste of baking soda, with a tingly, spicy undertone of cinnamon and menthol. I have grown to really enjoy the flavor.

This mouth rinse can be used as a daily rinse, or as an oral debriding rinse when sores and swelling develop. I choose not to use it on a daily basis, figuring that if I just use it once or twice a week and when I feel a sore throat or a mouth sore coming on, then it will be more effective.
