With all of the toy recalls going on, it seemed that we just had to find some safe, sustainable, and educational games for kids (and adults, too!). This is the first in a series of games we will be adding that we are so excited about! From the use of recycled materieals and soy inks to the educational nature of the games, BioViva Games are the perfect choice for your youngster.
This game set includes three different games with various game pieces conveniently located in separate drawers: Baby Animals Memory Game (9 large "Mother" cards and 18 "Baby" cards); Who's Afraid of the Fox? (1 large game board, 4 figurines, 1 illustrated die); and Hide- And-Seek Dominoes (28 dominoes that show animals unique ways of protecting themselves). The games are redesigned versions of dominoes, memory cards, and an ancient board game.
We love that this is a set of games, and offers a variety for youngsters to choose from. Children practice such skills as visual memory and observation; learn to understand the roles of herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores in the food chain; and are introduced to the defense mechanisms animals use to survive (camouflage, mimicry, bright colors, shells, spines, and more).
These games are for ages 3 and up, involve from 1 to 4 players, and typically last about 10 minutes.
SOMETHING ELSE...
When your child is finally too old for these imaginative games (or has used them beyond usability), if you don't have someone to pass them on to, don't worry! All pieces are fully recyclable! That's so cool- a game you don't have to just throw away!
